I really believe customer service is non existant in a lot of cases. Point in case, I needed windsheild wipers for my 2008 Pontiac G6-GT. Went to one place said it was a dealer item. I went to the local Chevrolet dealer here in El Paso. I will even tell you the name, it is Viva Chevrolet on Montana St. I took the old wiper blade off went into parts dept. told the young man what i needed. He came out with a pair of wiper blades, said it was $56 and change. I asked to see the blades they looked a little different, so i told him they weere not the same. He said if he got the VIN # it would be easier. we came back in he checked and said the vin # says they should work. I went outside and tried again, the wiper s did not fit no matter what i did. So i went back in told the young man that they do not fit and i want my money back. He checked the vin again and said they should fit, i told him at this point that it did not matter what the book said they will not fit, at that point i told him the ticket says these are for 2006 G6 not 2008, at that point he said that i had told him that it was for 2006.I told him i needed Wipers for a 2008 G6. Anyway 06-08 they don' fit, i want my money back. In a while he came with another man he asked me something in spanish, i told him he could speak to me in english. Anyway he said i would not get my money back because i opened the package(i did not open the package the first guy did) I told him that because the package was opened and the wipers do not fit i still have to pay for them? He said yes! At that point i was very angry. I told him to get me somebody that i could talk to about the situation. Get me the manager. He stated he was the manger. At that point i really became very angry. I told them that i was not leaving until i got my refund. At that point hey told me to take the wipers and car to the service dept and they would install them for me. I said at no charge they said they would have to charge me.By that itme i had called the main dealer ship where antoher manage told me tha he could not do anything about it. In the meatime the other to guys had gone back to service dept. apparently they told them what i had been telling them all along they don't fit. At that pont they did return my money. I will never ever buy anyting from them nor will I send anyone there. As matter of fact i am going to email this to the owner. Where has customer service gone????? I have always been GM products loyal customer.
